Our Story
From a tender age, our founder was groomed for a life steeped in quality and precision. His father's early influence, instilling a relentless pursuit of excellence, was further honed during his Norway army service. This foundation of discipline and meticulous attention to detail found its true calling when he joined the world's premier IT team—the elite DBA group at Deutsche Bank in London in 2000.
In this environment, reminiscent of a Formula One pit crew, a small yet exceptionally talented team managed an astounding ten thousand databases, utilising state-of-the-art systems and processes refined over decades. The level of precision and efficiency was unparalleled, setting a standard that would define our founder’s career.
However, upon departing Deutsche Bank after a decade and consulting with various other clients, he encountered a starkly different reality. The standards of precision and quality he had come to embody were nowhere to be seen. This culture shock, coupled with the realisation that the market was saturated with providers lacking a commitment to high standards, spurred the creation of Deverg.
Deverg was born from a vision to fill a market gap—offering distinguished quality, top-tier experience, and unwavering dedication to professional execution.
